Does Roo say my child’s name out loud?
In the $4.99 and $14.99 books the name is printedon every page — you will see it in the story — and Roo reads the page saying “you”. Roo speaking the name aloud is the Personalised plan, because each name has to be recorded.
What ages is it for?
Two to six. Younger children listen and look at the pictures; older ones follow the words as they light up, which is how a lot of them start reading.
Does it need the internet?
Only to download it the first time. After that it works anywhere — planes, cars, cabins, or with the wifi switched off at bedtime.
Is there anything my child could tap into?
